I realize that, since I'm working in a network scenario, a user cannot work in the program on the Server computer. For example, if you have two user licenses, then you need three computers: the server (which only serves the files) and two client computers that Users actually work on.
I understand the diagram: How Network Seats are Used .
My server has User Account Control (UAC) turned off to prevent data loss.
[How do I do this?]
User Account Control (UAC) on the Server machine should be turned off before installing the software to prevent data loss. On the Vista Server machine, click on Start and go to Control Panel. All the way at the top-left, click 'Classic View'. Click 'User Accounts' on the right pane. Click the last link, 'Turn User Account Control on or off'. Uncheck 'Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.'
